HCS4300 2POM
The SIPLUS HCS4300 heating control system controls heatingelements and other resistive loads in 230 V/277 V and 400 V/480 Vvoltage supply systems in industrial environments.
Communication takes place via PROFINET or PROFIBUS and can beused together with SIMATIC S7, for example, to form a highlymodern and high-performance automation system.

Just one 24 V DC infeed for up to 8 power output modules
The configuration can be expanded by up to 8 additional POMswith the use of an EM4315 expansion module. To do so, the EM4315only needs to be supplied with 24 V DC.
A maximum of 24 POMs can be operated on one CIM (with 2EM4315).
Integrated 2-phase protection of heating elements (supply andreturn circuit)
Two Power Output Module versions:
POM4320 busbar mounting: with integrated busbar adapter for easymounting on a busbar system.
POM rear panel mounting: with integrated mounting plate formounting on the cabinet rear panel.
Problem-free service and maintenance thanks to simplereplacement of fuses
Different types of heating element (e.g. quartz, halogen,infrared emitters, heating cartridges) can be operated. The sameapplies to heating elements that have a very low resistance whencold and therefore very high inrush currents.

The main components of the SIPLUS HCS4300 heating controlsystem are:
Central Interface Module (CIM) installed in metal enclosure
Mounting is carried out using 4 screws (2 top and 2 bottom) onthe left side of the power output module.
Power output module (POM) installed in metal enclosure
Up to 6 power output modules can be operated on one CIM.
Communication via PROFIBUS IO, for example, with SIMOTION,SIMATIC S7, or Industrial PC
Customized distributed configurations are also possible.
