概述
SIMATIC HMI IRD400The SIMATIC HMI IRD400 (infrared display unit) module is an HMIunit for making status information clearly visible on a 7-segmentdisplay from a considerable distance.
It contains 3 x 7-segment displays, signal lamps and an infraredreceiver and transmitter. It is controlled via PROFINET.
优势
The SIMATIC HMI IRD400 links a 7-segment display and/or aninfrared interface in a PROFINET network in the TIA Portal. Thebright 7-segment display – as a new SIMATIC HMI device for specificapplications – can display numerical values in a highly legiblymanner. The main advantage is therefore readability from very longdistances. The integrated IR interface now makes it possible tolink bidirectional infrared communication with a range of up to10 m in SIMATIC applications and into the TIA Portal.
The infrared interface contains both an infrared receiver forremote control and an infrared sender for communication betweendisplay units. A compatible remote control (6ES7292-0CA50-0AA0) canalso be supplied. 8 digital inputs/outputs and two LEDs are alsoavailable on the module.
The configuration is made in the TIA Portal V14 or higher. AnGSD file is available to the user for this purpose.
The SIMATIC IRD400 has an internal PROFINET switch andintegrates itself seamlessly into a PROFINET network.
应用
The SIMATIC HMI IRD400 was developed to control electricmonorail systems – EMS600.
An application is found everywhere that requires goodreadability and/or infrared communication. As the functions "3x7segment display" and "Infrared (IR) interface" via PROFINET are anexpansion of the SIMATIC product range, the device is offered toall customers as a SIMATIC standard product.

SIMATIC IRD400 is enclosed in a 140 x 116 x 37.5 mmenclosure (installation section 123 x 99 mm).
The IRD400 is connected to the PROFINET PN networks via PROFINETby means of RJ45 connectors.
The device has a 2-port PN switch. 2-pin connection of theexternal 24 V DC supply voltage. Fan and battery-lessoperation. Degree of protection IP65 (at the front).
